The procedure involves the insertion of a microchip (a small computer chip)
under the skin at the shoulders of your pet. Each chip has a unique
number. Animal shelters, dog wardens and veterinarians can read this
number with a special scanning device. The number is then called into the
company and they identify the owners. This procedure is safe and is a
secure way to protect your pet.
This medical technology is used to take biopsies from the nose, ear, stomach,
intestine and bladder, remove foreign bodies, examine ears, and help determine
the fertility of female dogs.
The laser is used for numerous surgical procedures such as declaws. The
laser makes declawing less painful because there is less swelling and bleeding.
Declaws will require a one night stay and no bandages or sutures. The laser is
also used for the removal of small skin warts with just a local anesthesia.
This tool helps measure your pet's heart rate and rhythm, body temperature, and
oxygen level during surgical procedures. This instrument is utilized in
our Premium Surgery Package which is part of our pain management program.
